Service Description

Unlock the Benefits of Coconut Oil Massage Ever wondered why coconut oil is a skincare superstar? Packed with vitamin E, it's your skin's best friend! Not only does it keep your skin soft and rejuvenated, but it also works wonders for conditions like psoriasis, dermatitis, and eczema. Plus, its linoleic acid is even believed to have cancer-fighting properties. Regular use—both internally and externally—promises glowing, smooth skin that stays beautiful, even as you age. That's why organic coconut oil is a go-to for therapeutic massages today. What's a Coconut Oil Massage Like? Picture this: Warm, melted coconut oil gently massaged onto your body with soothing strokes, then kneaded into your muscles. The oil is generously applied to your hair too, relieving scalp tension and headaches. This luxurious massage not only leaves your skin moisturized and nurtured but also helps maintain your hair's health and shine. What Happens During the Massage? Get ready to relax! You'll disrobe (except for your undies) in private and lie comfortably on a massage bed, covered with a sheet and blanket. Only the area being massaged will be exposed for modesty. A plant-based massage oil is used to nourish your skin as the therapist works their magic. Typically, the massage covers your back, legs, abdomen, arms, chest, and neck, with extra attention to the head and hair. After-care Advice: After your massage, drink plenty of water to detoxify your body. Avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol for 24 hours, and take it easy on strenuous exercise. Give yourself time to rest and let your body heal from within. Pricing: 1 hour: £47.00 Ready to Treat Yourself? Cancellation Policy

There are a few changes regarding on-site massages – in order to help keep us both protected and safe. I will be practicing the following: Wear a mask in your presence if requested, but will sanitize my hands before and after sessions as usual. Have a diffuser misting the air with essential oils which are antibacterial, antifungal and anti-viral. Maintaining social distancing when not massaging. Changing sheets/towels after each session as per usual. Airing the room after each session. Disinfecting all surfaces after each client. In order to keep us both safe as possible: Please shower before you come if possible. A fresh mask will be provided for you to wear if needed. Hand sanitizer is available if requested. Please bring your own water bottle. Let me know as soon as possible before your massage if you are not feeling well or cannot make it. Ideally, 24 hours notice is preferable. Unfortunately, if you cancel only a few hours before your therapy, a cover charge of £15 may be requested. I prefer Cash and BACs payments if possible as this cuts down on my card reader bank charges which can mount up unnecessarily. The Federation of Holistic Therapists has confirmed there is no evidence to show COVID infections are spread through the therapeutic massage industry. This could be because of our high standard of training, cleanliness and annual Continuous Professional Development (CPD) which is expected of all FHT therapists.
